FINAL REFLECTION!
From the beginning to the end of the semester, my posts definitely improved. It took me a little bit to get into the swing of the class and understand what made a good post, and being able to peer review my classmates and see how they were completing their assignments also helped me a lot.
2) I felt like me and those that I peer reviewed were like a little community of entrepreneurs always supporting each other. Even though it was a required assignment to comment on other posts, it still felt nice to see familiar names giving me kind and helpful feedback by the end of the semester! The most formative experience was probably in my last elevator pitch, because I felt like I was truly representing and talking about a real product that I believed in. We grew these ideas from the start and treated them as normal, functioning businesses which I had never gotten the opportunity to do before, so I liked that a lot. I'm proud of myself for not procrastinating and developing a better work ethic and homework/study schedule in order to stay on track in this class.
3) I think I've definitely moved closer to developing an entrepreneurial mindset. In daily life, when something annoying happens or I wish I had something with me, I am able to identify potential opportunities a lot better. Instead of just seeing problems, I see needs/opportunities and want to find solutions for them.
4) To perform best, make a schedule and stick to it! It takes some getting used to remembering to turn in assignments by noon and declare them, and post blog posts whenever they are do. Since watching lectures, doing readings and assignments, and staying on track is all on you, it's important to do it. But what I loved about this class is that with the right time management, effort, and focus, you really can be so successful in it!

Hi Linnea,
ReplyDeleteI loved this post, as I have enjoyed all your others this past semester. I think that's such a cute analogy you made because our group really has become like a group of entrepreneurs supporting each other. I'm glad you have grown and developed valuable skills from this class and the assignments, I feel the same way. I think time management for sure is key to succeed in this class. Great post! Good luck in your future endeavors!
Hello Linnea,
ReplyDeleteGetting used to the class and assignments was something I had to do as well because the way the class was structured was unique to me and never had a class like it before. It definitely took some time to get used to but I improved throughout the course. It's great that now you see more problems as opportunities rather than problems. This proved your entrepreneur mindset has developed. I see we both mentioned having some sort of schedule to help do assignments on time! Great Picture! Good luck in the future, it was a pleasure to read and peer review your posts throughout the semester!
